· Early engineering team The Opportunity What if you could help build the platform that changes how enterprise software is created? Taiga is an AI-native software factory. Business intent goes in. Production-ready, governed software comes out. Our platform transforms business requirements into structured specifications and uses AI agents to build, release and maintain software within enterprise constraints such as security, compliance, architecture and auditability. We're a Finnish early-stage company with a working product, growing customer traction and our first signed contracts. Our team brings together experienced specialists in full-stack development, AI engineering and product design. Now we're looking for our next Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help take the platform further. You'll work on the core technology that enables AI agents to turn complex business requirements into production-ready software. From application development and integrations to the infrastructure behind agent execution, there's plenty to explore and build. We're not looking for one specific type of full-stack engineer. Whether your strengths lie in frontend, backend, DevOps or infrastructure, we're interested in what you bring to the team. What matters most is a solid full-stack foundation, strong engineering judgment and the ability to solve complex problems. An AI-native approach to software development is essential to this role. Our engineers focus on designing solutions, orchestrating AI agents, reviewing and validating their output, and ensuring the quality of what gets shipped. We're looking for someone who has already made this shift in their own development workflow and understands how to combine AI capabilities with sound technical judgment. What You'll Build You'll help develop the platform behind Taiga's autonomous software factory, working alongside our founders and engineering team. As one of our early engineering hires, you'll have the opportunity to influence architectural decisions and take responsibility for meaningful parts of the product. Your focus will depend on your strengths and interests, and could include:
• Frontend: Building intuitive, responsive user experiences together with our Design Engineer, developing the design system and creating interfaces for complex AI-driven workflows.
• Backend: Designing and developing APIs, data models and integrations that connect business requirements, AI agents and the software they produce.
• DevOps: Improving CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, observability and the systems that enable reliable software delivery.
• Infrastructure: Developing our AWS infrastructure and exploring how parts of Taiga's platform could run securely within customer-managed environments. You'll contribute across the full stack while developing deeper expertise and ownership in the areas where you can make the biggest impact. There's still plenty to figure out, from architectural decisions to making the platform more reliable, scalable and maintainable. You'll have a genuine say in how we approach these challenges. • Have strong full-stack development experience, with deeper expertise in frontend, backend, DevOps or infrastructure
• Are comfortable working with TypeScript, modern web technologies, databases and cloud environments
• Already use AI development tools such as Claude Code or Codex extensively in your daily work, rather than treating AI as an occasional assistant
• Can take technical solutions from initial ideas through to production
• Enjoy solving complex problems and finding pragmatic, well-considered solutions
• Are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, sharing knowledge and learning from others
• Care about the product you're building and the people using it
• Communicate fluently in Finnish and comfortably in English Experience with AWS, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, AI agents or enterprise software development is a plus, but not required. We know great engineers come from different backgrounds, and we're more interested in your strengths than a perfect match with every technology. The Team & How We Work You'll join a small, experienced team spanning full-stack development, AI engineering and product design, working closely with CTO Teemu Ijäs and the founders. We make important decisions together and give everyone the freedom to take responsibility for their work. We value open communication, different perspectives and people who are happy to share knowledge, ask questions and help each other succeed. You can expect thoughtful technical discussions, constructive feedback and teammates who enjoy building things together. AI-assisted development is part of our everyday workflow, including the use of our own agents. We're continuously refining our engineering practices as the technology evolves. Why Join Taiga? Help shape a product from its early stages. You'll join at a point where your contributions can meaningfully influence what we build and how the platform develops. Work on engineering problems that matter. We're building for enterprise environments where security, reliability and scalability are essential. You'll get to tackle these challenges with experienced colleagues and the freedom to explore different approaches. Be part of a small, ambitious team. You'll work closely with the people building the company, with direct communication, collaborative decision-making and minimal hierarchy. Share in what you're building.

If you're an experienced full-stack engineer who enjoys building products, solving complex technical challenges and working in an AI-native environment, we'd love to hear from you We value different backgrounds and perspectives.
