Software Architect – Helsinki, Finland Codemate helps companies move forward on their AI transformation. We deliver meaningful applications and services with agile teams of skilled software engineers and designers — increasingly with AI-native systems and agentic workflows at their core. We are looking for a seasoned Software Architect to join our Helsinki team.

About the Role
A growing share of our work is AI-native: agentic workflows, LLM-backed services, and the platform work that makes them dependable in production — including our own agentic UX platform, Paimen AI. Paimen™ assembles the interface around what a user is actually trying to do, which makes an architect's instinct for allow-lists, guardrails and audit trails matter more, not less. You do not need to arrive as an AI specialist — but you should be curious about how these systems change the shape of an architecture, and honest about what they cost to run. What You Bring 10+ years of professional software development experience Ability to design and develop web systems and cloud solutions using modern open-source technologies A track record of building software and cloud architectures that are scalable, secure and efficient A clear view on where AI belongs in an architecture — and where it does not Curiosity and a hands-on approach: always learning, always applying Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve real-world challenges About Codemate We are a team of code enthusiasts and designers who take our craft seriously — and our culture equally so.
