About Our Team
Nordea is hiring a Generative AI Engineer (Full-Stack Developer) for our AI & Change Team in Personal Banking. Join us to drive innovation and use Generative AI to reshape banking. AI & Change works across the Nordics, and you will be working alongside other Generative AI engineers, Business Analysts and our Business Units. As we are a new unit, you will have a unique opportunity to shape our culture, leaving your mark on our future ways of working. Your contribution will be key in the implementation of a wide range of solutions that aim to improve our Customer solutions and internal processes.

This role is based in Copenhagen, Denmark or Helsinki, Finland.

What You'll Be Doing
Main responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to:

• Develop, maintain and build AI agents through AI Solutions, both in Microsoft (Power Platform using Power Automate, Copilot Studio and related Azure AI services) and Amazon (AWS products, Bedrock and Sagemaker)
• Develop, maintain and quality assure Python and Java applications (Data processing, API and MCP integrations)
• Work closely with colleagues, including business users, risk managers, and product leads—serving as their technical collaborator and quality assurance partner
• Apply AI responsibly, ensuring and driving how guardrails, test automation and monitoring meet compliance
• Documentation and versioning of workflows in accordance with governance
• Collaboration with DevOps teams on CI/CD via Jenkins and BitBucket

Your background and skills include:

• 4+ years of professional experience from working as a Microsoft Power Platform developer (Automate and Copilot Studio)
• Experience with Cloud vendors and their offerings (Azure and AWS)
• Proven experience with Prompt Engineering, MLOps, vector databases and non-trivial Retrieval Augmented techniques.
• Production experience with classical ML and generative AI applications.
• Practical experience with Python and Java programming, including development of applications for automation, data processing, API and MCP integrations
• Experience with Containerization (Docker), Orchestration (Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code/CLIs (Terraform, Microsoft Power Platform CLI)
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes via Bitbucket, Jenkins
• Ability to document and version workflows and scripts in accordance with governance requirements

It would be ideal if you also:

• Have a knack for analysing Business processes and understands how to connect and optimise them with AI
• Have a keen interest in data and how we design, develop and apply it with AI
