About the role

In Private Care at Health Suite, we provide healthcare and patient information systems, and services to private healthcare providers in Finland. We are now looking for an experienced Program Manager. In this key role you will be managing a complex and transformative software development program in the Private Care domain.

As a Program Manager you will lead the program from inception to completion, ensuring its success. You will ramp-up and lead global software development teams, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will span from planning the project scope to keeping all stakeholders aligned and informed. You will also oversee technical aspects, ensuring the feasibility and integrity of the program while driving continuous improvement in our processes and practices.

We expect you to have a solid experience in software business coupled with strong will to lead software development programs with multiple stakeholders in a complex technological environment.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Lead the software development teams in the program, and manage their delivery
  • Develop detailed project plan, schedule and milestones, and ensure timely completion
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables by close cooperation with product management, development teams and stakeholders
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members
  • Ensure technical feasibility and quality of deliverables
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Communicate the status and changes to stakeholders
  • Manage project resources and global delivery process
  • Maintain project documentation

As a Program Manager your main responsibility is to run the whole development program starting from planning to the final delivery.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has solid experience and track record leading complex software programs and projects
  • Is able to drive programs together with team to set and achieve the targets aligned with set strategic targets and measures
  • Understands risk management, quality assurance, and stakeholder management
  • Is fluent in both written and spoken English and Finnish

To succeed in this position, you need to have previous experience with transformative and demanding projects, and know-how of the latest cloud and data related technologies and a will to continuously learn new things.

It would be beneficial if you also have:

  • Experience program(s) focusing on software products
  • Knowledge of some healthcare and patient information system
  • Understanding MDR and ISO13485 certificates
