The role 


• Design and operate a modern data platform (batch + streaming) for analytics and ML. 


• Build reliable ETL/ELT pipelines and data models (SQL/Python) with orchestration (Airflow/Prefect). 


• Implement lakehouse patterns (Delta/Apache Iceberg) or warehouse solutions (Snowflake/BigQuery). 


• Establish data quality, lineage, catalog, access control, and cost monitoring. 


• Enable self-service for downstream teams (semantic layers, dbt, documentation, SLAs).

What you bring 


• MSc/BSc in Computer Science/Data Engineering or similar. 


• 3+ years in data engineering/platform roles at scale. 


• Strong SQL and Python; experience with Spark and streaming (e.g., Kafka). 


• Cloud data stacks on AWS/Azure/GCP; Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). 


• Data quality/observability tooling (e.g., Great Expectations, OpenLineage).

Nice to have 


• Feature stores for ML, near real-time analytics, cost optimization/FinOps. 


• Security/privacy design for data platforms (GDPR, PII, role-based access).
