We're looking for a Local IT Support Specialist with a proactive mindset and a passion for providing on-site support with a service-oriented approach.

What will you be doing?

As Local IT Support Specialist, you will provide support to mission-critical applications, infrastructure, and advanced support for end users on a local level. The position involves regular travel to locations in Finland.

Main responsibilities

  • Advanced troubleshooting of technology
  • Partner with DXC to provide end user hardware as needed/directed
  • Partnering with both internal and external stakeholders to provide solutions as needed
  • Maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of office IT equipment and systems
  • Managing local stock of equipment & devices, such as computers
  • Ordering equipment as needed
  • Remote support of sites as needed

What will you need?

  • A few years of experience in roles like On-Site Support or other relevant IT roles, preferably in an international environment
  • A strong customer service mindset and great communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with people at all levels to ensure excellent service
  • Proactive attitude and eagerness to improve ways of working
  • Willingness and ability to learn and grow in the role

Fluency in English and Finnish is required.

You will be based in Ilmala or Nastola. Hybrid work is supported, with remote options tailored to your role—helping you balance life and work in a way that suits you.
