Research Scientist, Data Science Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our Cybersecurity research team at Codento. As a Research Scientist, you will play a key role in performing cutting-edge applied research on AI/ML and their interaction with cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, study, and test ML solutions to solve diverse cybersecurity problems.
- Contribute to the definition of the long-term roadmap for ML & cybersecurity research and contribute to its execution.
- Work in customer projects and collaborative research projects with industrial and academic partners.
- Write and communicate about research results through peer-reviewed papers, reports, patents, or public presentations.
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in machine learning, computer science, mathematics, or a relevant field.
- Theoretical knowledge of conventional supervised and unsupervised ML techniques such as SVM, Random Forest, Boosting methods, DNNs, DBScan, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Python ML libraries such as ScikitLearn, Pytorch, Keras, Numpy, etc., and ML development platforms.
- Practical hands-on experience in applying machine learning to solve cybersecurity or other type of problems.
- Critical thinking mindset and good problem-solving skills.
- Optional: Good scientific writing and presentation skills.
- Optional: Knowledgeable and have practical experience with LLMs.
- Optional: Track record of research publications in machine learning, cybersecurity, or other relevant publication venues.
