Key Responsibilities- Finance Business Partnership
- Develop and deliver regular monthly reporting and performance KPIs to support Virta product and operations.
- Participate in business planning, budgeting, and KPI target setting.
- Provide fact-based challenger and decision-making support related to business management, pricing, commercial negotiations, and deal making.
- Platform Development
- Develop the financial reporting capability within the Virta core EV charging platform and Virta data platform.
- Review financial concepts of all new platform development projects to ensure accurate financial transactions and financial controls are in place.
- Bring a finance perspective to the development of the overall platform roadmap and prioritization of development projects.
- Financial Reporting and Money Flows
- Own EV charging-related profit and loss and balance sheet accounts.
- Review and control the correctness of billing and settlements and balances related to charging transactions business.
- Reconcile operational charging platform transactions and financial reporting systems.
- Tax and Statutory Compliance
- In collaboration with our Tax Director, support product and technology teams with VAT/GST expertise to build in VAT/GST compliance into all charging transactions.
- Master's degree in business, economics, or engineering with proven professional experience in business controlling roles in an international environment.
- Proven experience and interest in financial systems, such as ERP system configuration/implementation and/or data/analytics platform development.
- Strong SQL and BI tools skills to analyze large amounts of data.
- You thrive in an innovative yet high-pressure environment and enjoy exploring solutions to complex problems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to communicate at all levels - fluent English is essential.
