Game Engine Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Unity Developer to join our team at GameBook Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C# programming and Unity engine development, with a focus on mobile application development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing new features, maintaining existing ones, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment. They will also be expected to participate in code reviews, design meetings, and other team activities to contribute to the growth and development of our team.
In addition to their technical skills, the successful candidate will need to possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities- Design and implement new features, and maintain existing ones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Participate in code reviews, design meetings, and other team activities.
- Maintain and improve application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Develop and optimize code to create scalable and reusable systems and components.
- Maintain and improve technical best practices in development.
- Continually develop your skills and apply the latest technology trends, tools, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, game development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Several years of experience in Unity development for iOS and Android on a live product.
- Strong in C#, and deep understanding of the Unity engine's functionality and capabilities and limitations of mobile platforms.
- Familiarity with native programming languages such as Kotlin or Swift.
- Skills in performance optimisation and profiling for mobile applications.
- Experience in application networking with backend services.
- Basic understanding of Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Fluent English language is essential for effective success in the job.
