We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our Data Platforms Unit at Tietoevry Industry. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality software products using agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop software products with end-to-end responsibility using Java Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring security frameworks.
  • Participate in agile projects and organizations, such as DevOps, and contribute to the development of horizontal business critical services.
  • Collaborate with a skilled international team of solution consultants, developers, and solution architects to deliver excellent customer value.
  • Develop and maintain software applications using Eclipse IDE and IntelliJ IDE.
Requirements
  • University degree in a relevant field, combined with several years of work experience and background in agile software development, tools, and deployment.
  • Experience from and interest in agile projects and organizations, such as DevOps.
  • Fluent language skills in Finnish and English, verbally and in writing.
  • Strong competencies in application development with Java Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring security frameworks.
  • Experience with application lifecycle management, including Java version and third-party Java library upgrades.
Desirable Skills
  • Practical experience with Secure Software Development steps.
  • Mastering build and deployment automation and test case building.
  • Experience with Apache tomcat/RHEL POD deployments.
  • Experience with SQL in MSSQL/ORA DB environments.
  • Competence around REST/RESTFUL/WebService or similar interfaces.
