Lead Game Development Teams to Success

Remedy Entertainment Plc is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead our game development teams and drive them towards achieving exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the engine backlog of at least one Northlight team, ensuring progress according to set objectives and maintaining scope.
  • Facilitating effective work planning, conducting meetings such as sprint planning and backlog grooming, and monitoring progress.
  • Supporting team members with their daily work, fostering cross-team collaboration, and resolving blockers.
  • Communicating progress and changes in plans to Northlight's development managers and technical teams, aligning on schedule targets.
  • Maintaining the team's short-term and long-term roadmap, breaking down high-level backlog items into actionable tasks for individual team members.
  • Tracking progress against defined milestone targets, managing scope, and flagging any potential risks.
  • Ensuring adherence to teamwork practices.
  • Contributing to process development by implementing best practices with support from the rest of Northlight's development management team.
Requirements:
  • Several years of experience leading daily work of technical teams in complex environments and supporting efficient collaboration.
  • Skilled in managing and clarifying requirements on a task/story level.
  • Experienced in working with highly technical development teams on topics like memory management, performance optimization, streaming, graphics rendering, and more.
  • Familiarity with development methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
  • Able to thrive in a team environment, share ideas, and learn from others. Skilled in collaborating with colleagues across different departments and presenting ideas clearly and coherently.
  • Able to work independently, being organized and documenting work efficiently.
