Patent Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Patent Specialist to join our team at Codento. As a Patent Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing Nokia's leading 5G and 6G standard essential patent portfolio.

1. Work closely with inventors and 3GPP RAN1/RAN4 standards delegates to identify and protect high-value 5G and 6G inventions.
2. Collaborate with patent associates to create high-quality patents, extending your understanding of the technology and patent prosecution.
3. Take ownership of specific technology domains, such as physical layer inventions/patents, with massive business impact.
4. Make decisions on the further development of the patent portfolio globally in your technology expertise area.
5. Promote a culture of innovation within the company, working closely with R&D project leads/experts and patent associates.

1. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Natural Sciences. PhD degree is a plus.
2. Strong experience in physical layer wireless technologies and familiarity with cellular communication standards such as LTE and 5G New Radio.
3. Ability to work proactively, multi-task, and meet aggressive timelines.
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
5. Invention/patent track record, preferably on physical layer.
