Levantine Arabic Language Instructor

Threat Tec, LLC, a rapidly growing Veteran-Owned Business, is seeking a skilled Levantine Arabic Associate Language Instructor to join our team at Camp Lejeune, NC.

We are looking for a highly qualified individual to assist the 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne) in managing foreign language training programs and providing instruction in Levantine Arabic. The successful candidate will possess excellent language skills, cultural knowledge, and the ability to integrate technology into the classroom.

• Assist in the management of foreign language training programs, including planning and executing tutoring sessions, developing lesson plans, and grading student assignments.
• Provide instruction in speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills, as well as regional and cultural topics, using modern communicative methodology.
• Integrate technology into the classroom and homework assignments, utilizing resources such as Smart Boards, Blackboard, and other devices provided by the Government.
• Develop learning materials and employ computer skills to organize data and teaching materials.
• Collaborate with Site Lead, POI analyst, or Language Instructional Developer to address student and curriculum gaps.

• At least ILR level 2 as measured by DoD test.
• A score of 553 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) PBT, or TOEFL iBT score as follows: 83 minimum overall and at least 20 each in Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing.
• A score of no less than 82 on the English Comprehension Level (ECL) test.
• At least a proficiency level 2 or Advanced-Low (ACTFL) on an OPI.

• Excellent language skills in Levantine Arabic.
• Cultural knowledge and understanding of regional topics.
• Ability to integrate technology into the classroom and homework assignments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of 80 hours documented training in online language teaching.

• Travel may be required.
