Bioprocess Engineer

VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Bioprocess Engineer to join our Bioprocess Engineering team. As a Bioprocess Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing bioprocesses for the production of sustainable, animal-free food proteins, novel biomaterials, and therapeutic proteins for human medicine.

• Plan and execute research projects to develop new bioprocesses and methods.
• Contribute to the development of new methods and tools for bioprocess optimization.
• Collaborate with other research teams to develop bioinspired processes and products.

• Master's degree in bioprocess engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience working with microbial physiology and fermentation processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience in downstream processing methods, automation in biotechnology, online monitoring of bioprocesses, or strong data analysis skills is an advantage.
