About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Tenure Track Professor in Data Science with a focus on Cybersecurity. The successful candidate will be part of our School of Technology and Innovations, which is renowned for its research excellence in computing sciences, electrical and electronic engineering, and related fields.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and teaching cybersecurity courses for B.Sc and master's level students, as well as supporting postgraduate programs and supervising master's and PhD theses. Additionally, they will work within consortia to acquire external funding by writing high-level research proposals for national and international funding agencies.

Requirements

To be eligible for this position, the candidate must have a doctoral degree in Computing Sciences, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field. They must also have deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, as well as strong publication records in quality journals. Excellent communication, pedagogical, and interpersonal skills are also essential.
