High-Performance DBA

Are you a skilled Database Administrator looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for working with PostgreSQL and cloud-based database solutions?

We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL Database Administrator to join our team at Paymentology. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing database schemas, executing database administration tasks, and ensuring the integrity and availability of our critical data.

• Design and optimize database schemas to improve performance and scalability
• Execute database administration tasks, including schema management, user access control, and performance tuning
• Implement robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure data availability
• Develop and maintain comprehensive database security protocols to safeguard sensitive data

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field
• 8 years of hands-on experience working as a Database Administrator, with at least 6 years specifically focused on PostgreSQL, as well as 1 year of experience working with MSSQL
• Proficient in automation tools and technologies, including shell scripting, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub
• Experienced in managing and optimizing cloud-based database solutions, including AWS RDS, BigQuery, and Azure Postgres
