Project Overview

The 'Next Generation Molecular Sensing' project aims to develop single molecule biosensors by integrating artificial cells, biological vesicles, molecular cell biology, plasmonic nanopores with AI data analysis. This project brings together experts from various fields to tackle complex challenges in biosensing.

Job Description

As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will be responsible for fabricating and characterizing plasmonic nanopore, nanotube biosensors on silicon nitride membranes and glass nanopipettes. You will also measure ion currents and Raman spectroscopy of biological samples (molecules, liposomes, and cells) on the biosensors.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Physics, Electronic Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
  • Strong experience in micro-/nanofabrication approaches (Focused Ion Beam) and cleanroom equipment (e.g., photolithography, physical vapor deposition).
  • Ability to pursue independent research and work productively in a team of various backgrounds.
