Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Cycle Specialist to join our Finance and Control function at Vaisala headquarters. As a key member of our Global Cost Cycle team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of accounts payable and ensuring the accuracy of indirect taxes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and ensure high-quality purchase invoices for selected countries globally.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts and ensure correctness in indirect taxes.
  • Prepare and monitor cost cycle payments and perform month and year-end closing procedures of accounts payable.
  • Participate in developing processes and tools for the cost cycle and provide global support and advice on cost cycle processes.
Requirements
  • Few years of relevant working experience or recent graduate.
  • Experience in working with ERP systems; SAP S/4 HANA experience is seen as a plus.
  • Experience in modern invoice processing tools such as Basware, SAP, etc. is seen as a plus.
  • Knowledge about indirect taxes and end-to-end processes is seen as a plus.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; Finnish is a plus.
  • Good communication and interaction skills.
  • Relevant educational background.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility.
