Global Payroll Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Finland. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for managing the full payroll cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing while adhering to Finland labor laws and tax regulations.
About the Role
- Administer end-to-end payroll processing for employees in Finland, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Finland legislation.
- Calculate, process, and verify wages, bonuses, overtime, vacation pay, sick leave, and other compensation elements.
- Ensure the correct application of tax codes, deductions, and statutory contributions, including pension, social security, and unemployment insurance.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports, including but not limited to tax returns, pension contributions, and annual summaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all payroll-related queries and support the HR team in improving payroll efficiency.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in the payroll system.
- Resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with the HR team on new hires, terminations, and other employee changes to ensure payroll accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in Finland payroll laws, tax regulations, and collective bargaining agreements to ensure compliance.
