About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced In Vivo Pharmacology Research Scientist/Senior Scientist to join our Antibody-Drug Conjugates Research Team at Orion Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing in vivo studies aimed at discovering antibody-drug conjugates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study Design and Execution: Independently design, perform, and coordinate in vivo studies to evaluate the efficacy and pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics of antibody-drug conjugates.
  • Protocol Development: Develop and optimize experimental protocols and methodologies to ensure high-quality data and efficient study execution.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders to understand scientific challenges and project needs, and facilitate the execution of in vivo studies.
  • Support to Research Organization: Provide in-vivo support across the Oncology research organization, ensuring seamless collaboration and data sharing.
  • Research Findings and Reporting: Present research findings to project teams and management, and prepare technical reports to communicate study results.
  • External Partnerships: Collaborate with external academic, biotechnology, and contract research organizations to advance our projects and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Scientific Rigor and Quality: Commit to scientific rigor, high data quality, and careful documentation to ensure the integrity of our research.
About the Team

The Antibody-Drug Conjugates Team is a dynamic and multidisciplinary group of researchers and scientists working together to discover and develop innovative cancer therapies. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside talented and experienced scientists and assistants, contributing to the development of potentially life-saving treatments.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience: MSc/PhD in cancer biology, pharmacology, or a relevant field, with at least 4 years of hands-on in vivo work experience in academic or industry settings.
  • Authorized Competencies: Authorized competencies to work with laboratory animals.
  • Hands-on Experience: Demonstrated hands-on experience in planning and executing in vivo pharmacology studies, including diverse mouse models and routes of drug administration, monitoring techniques, and sample collection.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of tumor biology, pharmacology, and PK/PD principles, with excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary research teams, and experience in coordinating research assistant work.
