We are looking for a Financial Trainee to join our Sanoma Accounting Services team in Helsinki.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Allocate incoming payments to the correct accounts with precision and timeliness.
  • Perform daily reconciliations of bank accounts to maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of the team by assisting with other finance-related tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous work experience and/or studies in finance and accounting are highly valued.
  • Fluent English communication skills are essential. Additional language skills are considered an advantage.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within the team.
  • Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems are required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks are expected.
