Job OverviewWe are seeking an exceptional Financial Analyst Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for finance, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing purchase and sales invoices, handling expense reports, updating SaaS figures, and participating in month-end and year-end closing activities. Additionally, they will work closely with our accounting firm to ensure accurate financial reporting.
We envision this role as an opportunity for a newly graduated finance professional to apply theoretical knowledge in practice and grow within our dynamic organization.
Key Responsibilities- Process purchase and sales invoices: approving purchase invoices, creating and sending sales invoices and payment reminders.
- Handle expense reports: reviewing and processing expense claims.
- Update and maintain SaaS figures: ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Closing procedures: Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities for our four entities.
- Collaboration with our accounting firm: work closely with external accountants to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- A relevant degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or a related field.
- Prior experience working in a finance team is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in ERPs (we use Netsuite), CRMs and other finance management systems are a plus.
- Good communication skills and strong team-working ability.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Fluent spoken and written English and Finnish.
