As a Supply Chain Expert, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the supply chain processes of Konecranes Global Oy. This includes identifying opportunities for cost savings, improving efficiency, and reducing risks in the supply chain.

About the Role

You will work closely with Direct Procurement Category Team in the areas of Electric components and assemblies. Additionally, you will collaborate actively with various internal and external stakeholders on a local and global level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as supplier manager for selected suppliers, driving supplier performance and ensuring continuous improvement in Konecranes Supply Chain and Total Cost of Ownership
  • Support category management by execution of procurement activities as directed e.g., driving the tendering process; contract negotiations with selected suppliers; and sourcing of alternative suppliers;
  • Support development and deployment of detailed category plans aligned with category strategies.
  • Identification of potential risks in the supply chain and developing mitigation plans, ensuring a stable and reliable supply of products
  • Contract and spend data collection, analysis, stakeholder consultation, and benchmarking for specific categories.
