At Nordcloud, we're seeking a skilled Cloud Migration Architect to join our team in Finland. As a key member of our cloud advisory team, you'll play a crucial role in helping our clients thrive on their cloud journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical consultant and architect for customers through project work
• Communicate, design, and guide the implementations for our customer cloud solutions, as well as perform hands-on implementation when needed
• Gather requirements and define the main challenges for the project
• Help engineers and other technical roles to build successful outcomes that meet customer needs
• Collaborate with sales and project managers to manage customer expectations from a technical perspective
• Educate customers on best practices in Cloud and communicate solution offerings in a manner that customers understand the value within them
• Ensure high-quality delivery metrics, reporting, and business profitability
• Ensure rapid productivity for our rapidly growing migration workforce
• Contribute to the development of Nordcloud's migration methodology and related software products

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in private virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, etc.), Windows Server and Linux administration, Active Directory administration, DB administration, and backup and DR systems
• Advanced knowledge of Azure platform
• Experience and technical understanding of large-scale data center migrations
• Practical, systematic, and detail-oriented mindset and ability to learn fast
• Excellent communication skills and a business mindset
• Previous experience as a consultant working with mid-size and large, international organizations
• Fluent communication skills in Finnish and English
