Consulting Geologist

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our team in Helsinki, Finland. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the construction of our environmental businesses in the Nordic Region, Europe, North America, and Australia.

The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental due diligence (EDD), sustainability, environmental impact assessments, or permitting for the industrial and energy sectors. You will also have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary network of experts in our offices in Europe, North America, and Australia.

• Conduct environmental due diligence (EHS/ESG) and auditing, environmental impact assessments (EIA), licensing & permitting, risk assessments;
• Perform due diligence and historical research, including Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments;
• Prepare technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals;
• Develop task, project, and client management skills;

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field of study;
• Advanced degree in the same field of study preferred;
• Professional certification or membership to professional bodies desirable;
• At least 2 years (5+ preferred) of direct environmental consulting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Understanding of Finnish and EU energy, industrial and environmental regulations;
