Junior IP Lawyer

Metso Corporation seeks a third- or fourth-year law student to work as a Summer Trainee at Metso HQ in Espoo, Finland.

The working period is 4 months, starting in May. As a Summer Trainee – IP & Tech Legal, you will:

• Support the team in various IP law-related matters, such as infringement cases, enforcement, and dispute resolution.
• Assist in corporate trademark portfolio management and brand protection.
• Support different projects like trainings and presentations.
• Contribute to the development of internal IP-related directives, guidelines, and policies.
• Review and draft IP & Tech related agreements.
• Coordinate meetings and assist with administrative tasks.
• Support communication with authorities globally.

Required Skills

We seek proactive individuals who show initiative, ability, and adaptability, with genuine interest in intellectual property and tech law.

Fluent communication skills in Finnish and English are required, with other language skills an asset.
