Acquisition Engineer

At Saab, we are navigating a challenging and complex environment in the Electronics and Mechanical Components industry. As a key member of our Sourcing and Production team, you will play a crucial role in managing relationships with our current and potential suppliers. Your primary responsibility will be to create conditions for an efficient and uninterrupted supply chain to meet the needs of projects and production.

• You will support production and projects with commercial responsibility and continuously evaluate the market competitiveness of the current supplier portfolio.
• Negotiating, actively managing, and further developing our supplier agreements will be another key aspect of your role.
• Issuing RFQs, evaluating quotations, and negotiating prices and terms will also be part of your responsibilities.
• You will ensure that Saab's purchasing strategy, policy, and procedures are fulfilled.

Required skills include:

• A university degree in Engineering or Economics or equivalent working experience.
• Experience from sourcing is essential.
• Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English, verbal and written.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
