Senior Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Platform Test Lead to join our System Integration team at u-blox AG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our embedded positioning platforms through systematic testing and strategic planning.

• Platform Verification Strategy: Define and implement a comprehensive platform verification strategy to ensure the quality and reliability of our platforms.
• Test Planning and Execution: Work with platform system-level requirements and convert them into verifiable items, design test packages to convert system-level requirements into test assets, and schedule, execute, and monitor automated test activities for platform releases.
• Test Management: Manage defects and work with developers to get them resolved, and lead the team effort towards establishing continuous testing for regression.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with system architects to refine and update platform system-level requirements, translate requirements into clear, testable items, and develop an effective test strategy.

• Education: MSc or BSc in Software or Hardware development.
• Experience: Experience in Test Project Management and good general Project Management skills, experience in Test automation, and knowledge in GNSS technology and related technologies.
• Skills: Ability to work and cooperate cross-functionally with other teams, willingness for occasional work-related travel, and programming skills with Perl, Python, Robot Framework.
