About the Job

We're seeking a skilled UX Platform Specialist to join our Core UX Squad. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and architecting UI platform capabilities that support other squads. This involves creating shared platforms and reusable systems to streamline workflows and reduce redundant efforts.

You'll work closely with a passionate team of engineers, designers, and product managers to create outstanding product experiences around UI and UX. You'll also develop new UI features and capabilities using Swift and UIKit, ensuring responsiveness, scalability, and alignment with design guidelines.

As a key member of our team, you'll need to possess strong collaboration and communication skills, as well as a problem-solving mindset and adaptability. Experience working asynchronously across countries and time zones is a plus.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and architect UI platform capabilities that support other squads
  • Create shared platforms and reusable systems to streamline workflows and reduce redundant efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create exceptional product experiences around UI and UX
  • Develop new UI features and capabilities using Swift and UIKit
  • Ensure high quality through code reviews, automatic testing, and engineering best practices
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional development experience shipping iOS apps
  • Strong experience with Swift and UIKit, modern iOS app architectures, and common third-party libraries and frameworks
  • Experience with collaborative development on complex shared codebases
  • Proficiency with Git, branching, and standard code review workflows
  • A focus on quality through unit tests and manual testing
  • Solid understanding of what you build as a whole, both from an engineering and end-user perspective
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Problem-solving mindset and adaptability
