About the Role:

Ahlstrom is currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Procurement Trainee to join our Procurement team. In this role, you will support managing various fibers procurement processes and projects together with internal stakeholders. You will also act as a key point of contact for non-wood and glass fibers related topics.

The trainee period lasts approximately 3-4 months and will start at the latest in June. The position is based in Espoo but in this hybrid role, you will have the flexibility to work remotely and on-site.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Communicate & confirm Ahlstrom raw material demand between suppliers and plants.
  • Support new fiber requirements and coordinate statuses with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support fiber ESG, traceability, risk management & supply chain development related projects.
  • Report project statuses.
  • Price list administration and documentation.
  • Support the Procurement team with various other Procurement related tasks as needed.
