Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Security Specialist to join our Secure Operations & Data Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, computer science, or a related field, and proven experience in a similar role.

The Security Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies, protocols, and procedures, conducting regular security assessments and audits, and collaborating with IT staff to ensure secure configuration of hardware and software.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities. The Security Specialist will work closely with other teams to ensure the security of Fortum's digital assets and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits
  • Collaborate with IT staff to ensure secure configuration of hardware and software
  • Monitor and report on security incidents and trends
  • Educate employees on security best practices and conduct training sessions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Security Specialist or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, NIS2)
  • Experience with cloud security and securing virtual environments
