Research Overview

Tampere University is a multidisciplinary institution committed to building a new model for higher education and research in Finland.

We are looking for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our Electromechanics group at the Electrical Engineering Unit. The successful candidate will work on numerical electromagnetics and magnetic materials, focusing on developing methods for real-time control of magnetic fields in power and distribution transformers and rotating electrical machines.

The project aims to integrate advanced electromagnetic modeling tools with practical design of electromagnetic energy conversion devices. The fellow will have the opportunity to participate in project management and instruction of Ph.D. students, as well as teaching at the Electrical Engineering Unit.
