Windows Specialist

Aalto Secure Systems Group is seeking a skilled Windows Specialist to join our Digital Workspace team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our Windows workstation environment, ensuring seamless support and maintenance for our users.

• Windows Workstation Maintenance: Utilize Microsoft Endpoint Manager to maintain and troubleshoot Windows workstations, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• VDI Environment Management: Develop and maintain our Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment, utilizing VMware Horizon to provide a secure and efficient workspace for our users.
• Information Security: Collaborate with our security team to ensure that our workstations and management infrastructure remain secure, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Operating System Updates: Plan and implement the distribution of operating system updates, ensuring minimal disruption to our users and maintaining the security and integrity of our systems.

• Collaboration and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and resolve complex technical issues.
• Microsoft Endpoint Manager Experience: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager, PowerShell, and Active Directory.
• Automation and Documentation: Ability to automate and document solutions, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and process efficiency.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in Finnish and English languages.

• VDI Maintenance Experience: Experience in maintaining VDI environments, such as VMware Horizon or Citrix.
• Mobile Device or Workstation Management: Experience in managing mobile devices or workstations using MDM solutions, such as Intune or Workspace ONE.
