We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL Database Administrator to join our dynamic team at Paymentology. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high availability and performance of our systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize database schemas to improve performance and scalability
  • Execute database administration tasks, including schema management, user access control, and performance tuning
  • Implement robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure data availability
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive database security protocols to safeguard sensitive data
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues using advanced monitoring tools and processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field
  • 8 years of hands-on experience working as a Database Administrator, with at least 6 years specifically focused on PostgreSQL, as well as 1 year of experience working with MSSQL
  • Proficient in automation tools and technologies, including shell scripting, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub
  • Experienced in managing and optimizing cloud-based database solutions, including AWS RDS, BigQuery, and Azure Postgres
