The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduling Specialist to join our Nordic Cluster organization in Denmark. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring projects have robust, dynamic, and well-structured schedules that meet contractual objectives and provide clear roadmaps for the execution phase.
You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure schedules are used for work coordination, predictable lookaheads, risk management, cost management, resource management, and team alignment. Additionally, you will conduct schedule and resource analysis and prepare schedule progress reporting materials for both external and internal purposes.
Your Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and analyze projects' current and forecasted schedules, including costs, resources, and risks, in close collaboration with Project Managers and Project team members.
- Draw attention to schedule deviations, problems, and solutions that may arise, and actively communicate schedule information to stakeholders.
- Develop solution options to handle delays together with the project team.
- Follow up on projects, preparing reports and analyses (S-curves, CPA, Resource Histograms, On-Time-Delivery Milestones).
- Promote the importance of planning and scheduling within the organization and act as a role model.
- Drive the implementation and use of planning and scheduling methodologies and tools.
Your Background
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in a relevant field.
- Experience in planning and scheduling.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.
- Ability to prepare and maintain high-quality, dynamic project schedules with the project team.
- Self-driven person who takes personal responsibility.
- Goal-oriented and structured way of working.
- Experience working with Primavera P6 and Oracle Unifier is an advantage.
- Project Management Certificate (PMP and/or PMI-SP) is an advantage.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English; Danish is an advantage.
