We are looking for a seasoned Senior AWS Specialist to join our cloud architecture team in Oulu, Finland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing AWS cloud architecture and related workloads to ensure they meet performance, resilience, scalability, security, compliance, and cost requirements of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality cloud-based solutions.
  2. Suggest and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  3. Support and guide software feature teams to maintain efficient navigation within the cloud environment.
  4. Provide comprehensive oversight for product availability and status monitoring.
  5. Automate processes to achieve a high level of self-correcting services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with AWS, including platform-specific services and architectures.
  • Strong understanding of cloud network management and security principles.
  • Awareness of cloud cost optimization and management.
  • Proficiency in Docker, with knowledge of virtual machines and hypervisors.
  • Hands-on experience in software development and testing, using languages such as C#, Node.js, and Python.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, and scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.
  • Practical knowledge of DevOps practices, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud monitoring tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, and Azure Monitor.
