About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bioinformatician to join our team at The Interview Portal. As a Bioinformatician, you will play a key role in analyzing and interpreting large-scale biological data to understand the complex interactions between genes, proteins, and environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement computational methods to analyze genomic and transcriptomic data
  • Develop and apply machine learning algorithms to predict disease outcomes and identify potential therapeutic targets
  • Collaborate with researchers and clinicians to integrate bioinformatics insights into clinical decision-making
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in bioinformatics and genomics, and apply this knowledge to improve our research and clinical practices
Requirements
  • PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java
  • Experience with bioinformatics tools and databases, such as BLAST, GenBank, and UCSC Genome Browser
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with researchers, clinicians, and other stakeholders
