We are seeking a dynamic Strategy Director to lead and implement strategic initiatives within our eCommerce and Delivery business group. This role focuses on competitive strategies, strategic investments, asset utilization, and integrating financial analysis into decision-making processes.

Purpose of the Job:

As the Strategy Director, you will develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive growth and profitability. You will focus on enhancing competitiveness, initiating large investments, and improving capital efficiency and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the business group's strategic vision, emphasizing competitiveness and financial performance.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses on market trends, competitive landscape, business portfolio and internal capabilities to identify growth and profitability opportunities.
  • Lead the prioritization of development initiatives based on strategic goals.
  • Implement performance measurement frameworks to evaluate and improve strategic initiatives.
  • Lead strategic planning processes, including long-term investment roadmaps.
  • Create, implement, and measure a value creation plan for the business group.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define strategic priorities and allocate resources.
  • Engage with operations teams to identify and implement operational improvements, as well as partner with finance and accounting teams to align strategic objectives with financial performance metrics.
  • Drive cultural change by fostering a strategic mindset and promoting data-driven decision-making.

To succeed in this position, we hope that you have:

  • Master's degree in business administration, finance, technology, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of strategic leadership with a focus on competitiveness, asset optimization, investments, and financial performance improvement.
  • Over 5 years of experience in a relevant field, such as corporate strategy, consulting or investment banking.
  • In-depth understanding of financial statements, P&L metrics, cash flow and balance sheet dynamics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience presenting to senior executives and driving consensus across diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to lead change in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent language skills in Finnish and English.
