Facility Maintenance Manager

We are looking for a Facility Maintenance Manager to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of Normet's facilities and production equipment. In this role, you will work closely with the maintenance team and collaborate with stakeholders across different locations, reporting to the Production Director. The role is based in Iisalmi, Finland, with responsibilities extending to Lahti and other locations as needed.

1. Oversee facility and environmental maintenance, including preventive maintenance development.
2. Manage and supervise maintenance projects, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance.
3. Improve facility security and develop security systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarms).
4. Supervise and develop the maintenance team to optimize production equipment reliability.
5. Collaborate with external partners and authorities on regulatory and safety matters.
6. Ensure facility budgeting, reporting, and cost monitoring.
7. Identify and drive process improvement initiatives for better efficiency and sustainability.

To shine in this position, we hope you have:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in facility and maintenance management.
2. Technical education in construction, building technology, or maintenance.
3. Strong knowledge of building and automation systems and production equipment maintenance.
4. Proven leadership and team management experience.
5. Understanding of budgeting, cost management, and contract negotiations.
6. Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
7. Strong collaboration and negotiation skills.
8. Basic proficiency in English (written and spoken).
