  • Integration of Systems & Equipment:
Oversee the integration of all mechanical, electrical, and systems components (HVAC, power systems, fire suppression, security, etc.) within the data centre environment.
Work closely with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that the design, equipment, and systems are effectively integrated into the site construction.
Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement testing procedures for integrated systems and ensure all systems meet operational specifications.
Ensure that all commissioning processes are completed, including system checks, equipment startup, and final handover to operations.
  • Project Coordination & Reporting:
Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and senior leadership to provide regular progress updates on site construction and integration activities.
Manage project timelines and ensure that milestones and deadlines are met, identifying and addressing any risks to project delivery.
Prepare and present detailed progress reports, including construction status, integration issues, and recommendations for resolution.
Ensure that all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for all on-site personnel, subcontractors, and clients during the construction and integration phases.
Liaise with external stakeholders, including local authorities, regulatory bodies, and vendors, ensuring that all approvals and permits are obtained, and compliance is maintained.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and contractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance & Risk Management:
Ensure that the construction work is executed to the highest quality standards, with a focus on achieving the required certifications and compliance for data centre infrastructure.
Identify and manage risks related to construction, integration, and system performance, developing mitigation plans and solutions as required.
Implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO certifications and local regulations.
Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the project and work towards continuous improvement.
  • Health & Safety:
Ensure that all site activities adhere to health and safety regulations and Whitewater Group's internal policies, fostering a culture of safety and proactive risk management.
Conduct regular safety audits, toolbox talks, and ensure all site personnel are trained and equipped to follow safety protocols.
Address any health and safety concerns immediately and implement corrective actions to prevent incidents.
