About the role

SEB Asset Management Branch in Finland comprises institutional sales, investment management, and portfolio solutions units. As the manager of the Finnish branch of SEB Asset Management, you will lead this team of highly motivated professionals and drive a growth strategy. You will also play a vital role within the global management team and report to the head of SEB Asset Management as well as to the Country Head of Finland.

Your responsibilities include being involved in key customer discussions, leading the branch's daily operations, implementing the business plan, participating in product development, overseeing and working with the operational and IT platform, and ensuring growth and long-term profitability. Additionally, you will ensure that the branch's activities comply with local laws and regulations. Collaboration with other parts of the SEB Asset Management organization and the broader bank is essential for success in this role. Moreover, you will focus on developing your team through empowerment, coaching, and motivation.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have

  2. Previous experience from the asset management industry.
  3. Strategic mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  4. Fluency in Finnish and English.
  5. A high level of integrity and sense of personal responsibility.
  6. Strong presentation and communication skills.
  7. A positive and flexible mindset with an ability to adjust.
  8. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and implement new ways of working to drive business objectives.
  9. University degree or equivalent in Business Administration/Economics/Engineering.
