We are looking for an Analytics and Data Science Team Lead to join our Data team and play a key role in impacting business growth through data-driven insights.

This role will be a balanced mix of 50% hands-on and 50% leading a team of 3.

You'll have a direct impact on shaping the company's success by collaborating with key leaders across the organization, supporting, challenging, and guiding various business stakeholders in data-driven decisions that have a direct impact on growth and strategy.

This position can be based in Estonia or Finland, and we are open to relocation to Estonia for the right candidate.

Your Main Responsibilities Are:

  • Supporting Starship's data analytics needs across all functional domains, including insights, decision support, metrics, and reporting.
  • Collaborating with functional domain leads to ensure the most impactful data opportunities are addressed.
  • Looking after the well-being, productivity, and professional growth of your direct reports.
  • Defining ways of working and maintaining standards and quality in the data analytics and data science domains.
  • Planning for and hiring into the team to ensure the long-term success of the team.
