Lead Cloud Architecture & Governance
Join us in leading the future of cloud technology across Azure and AWS. In this role, you will define the enterprise cloud vision, guide critical architecture decisions, and influence the direction of a global technology landscape.
You will lead the Cloud Center of Excellence, drive large-scale transformation initiatives, and ensure secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud platforms. You will play a key role in Valmet's cloud-first transformation journey, helping modernize infrastructure, applications, and operating models globally while ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud services. Your responsibilities
You will own and evolve the enterprise cloud architecture vision and roadmap across Azure and AWS.
You will lead and continuously develop Valmet's Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), ensuring alignment between cloud strategy, architecture, governance, security, and business objectives.
You will govern strategic cloud partners and managed service providers, ensuring delivery quality, architectural compliance, and alignment with Valmet's technology strategy.
You will provide architectural oversight across cloud initiatives, including migrations, modernization programs, and platform standardization.
You will partner with security, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure cloud solutions are secure, compliant, and scalable.
You will establish cloud financial governance and FinOps practices to maximize business value, transparency, and cost efficiency while reducing technology risk and ensuring vendor compliance with Valmet's architecture standards.
Expectations for you
You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
You have extensive experience in cloud architecture and governance across Azure and AWS.
You have experience driving enterprise‑wide cloud transformation initiatives in complex global organizations.
You have proven success leading cloud transformation, migration, and modernization programs.
