VEO is a leading company specializing in electrification projects, and we are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Director to join our management team. This key role is essential to our success and offers the chance to make a significant impact on our business.

As a member of our top management team, you will report directly to the CEO and work closely with other management team members and Country Managers to shape the future of our company. As a group level position, we are very flexible about your location.

• Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals.
• Project Management and Engineering: Oversee engineering activities and coordinate project management across regions.
• Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales function throughout the sales processes.
• Resource Prioritization: Optimize resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Contract Management: Lead contract strategy, negotiations, and risk management to ensure optimal agreements and compliance across key stakeholders.

• Technical and Project Management Expertise: Proficiency in project management, engineering knowledge, and resource prioritization.
• Leadership and Management: Strong leadership skills, effective communication, and team-building experience.
• Commercial Mindset: Strong commercial insight, experience in sales collaboration, and excellent negotiation skills.
• Problem-Solving and Positive Drive: Proactive problem-solving abilities, positive and motivational attitude, and adaptability.
• Hands-On Approach: Willingness to show drive and personally tackle challenges as they arise.
• Financial and Analytical Skills: Financial acumen and strong analytical skills.
• Suitable educational background: An electrical engineering and/or a commercial degree.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in Finnish (mandatory), proficient in English, and Swedish is a plus.
