We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our Product Group team in a new role. The successful candidate will be responsible for the system design and development of new sustainable solutions for Serres customers. This role also includes the development of automatic system measurement and quality control practices for Serres solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of sustainable solutions in the medical device industry.
  • Develop and implement automatic system measurement and quality control practices.
  • Drive innovation and radical thinking in regards to sustainability to innovate new solutions.
  • Oversee the system design and development processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

What are we looking for?

  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Technical academic degree of M.Sc.
  • Preferably 5 years of experience with medical device systems, including system design and development.
  • Expertise in automatic manufacturing processes, plastic molding, and extrusion techniques.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage projects effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset.
  • Knowledge of injection molding and film extrusion.
  • A track record of driving change within an organization.
  • A strong understanding of sustainable design principles and circular economy concepts.
