Ahlstrom is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic IT Trainee to join our Espoo-based IT team. In this role, you will support financial data analysis, IT agreement management, and other IT-related assignments while collaborating with Group Finance, Procurement, and Ahlstrom plants. The trainee period lasts 3-4 months, starting latest in June, with a hybrid work model allowing both remote and on-site work at our modern Espoo office.

Your main responsibilities:

• Support in-depth data collection of IT and maintenance cost in Ahlstrom plants
• Analyze data in close cooperation with IT controlling and IT procurement
• Assist in management of IT agreements in cooperation with IT procurement
• Obtain hands-on experience within Group IT function and collaborate closely with Group Finance, Procurement, and Ahlstrom plants

What we are looking for:

• Ongoing Bachelor or Master level studies, preferably majoring in Finance / Business Administration
• Basic understanding of company finance management practices
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• A flexible and positive mindset with good cooperation skills
• A can-do attitude and willingness to learn

It's a bonus if you have:

• Work experience in the field of Finance and IT
• Knowledge of SAP ERP and Basware
