Would you like to work in an international organization and have a role in software development?

Landis+Gyr R&D Software is looking for a Software Architect to join the team in Jyväskylä, Finland. The team works in an international environment and collaborates closely with colleagues around the world.

About the role

As a Software Architect you will be working amongst experienced professionals and have a variety of different tasks. The main tasks of the role include:

  1. Architecture and definition of technical solutions for systems
  2. Creating and maintaining system level architecture for our software products
  3. Creating the technical concept and functional description, with input from other stakeholders
  4. Providing input to technology roadmaps
  5. Innovation and generation of new ideas and concepts in your own area of expertise

To succeed in this role, you would need to have

  1. Gained a solid understanding of software architecture design, object-oriented languages (preferably Java), relational databases or modern UI frameworks
  2. A hands-on attitude, containerization, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, quality assurance practices and identity management are seen as a plus. Your role will be tailored to your skills and interests
  3. A team player mindset and strong commitment to quality in everything you do
  4. Fluent English language skills since we work in a truly international environment
  5. Enthusiasm about your work and eagerness to continuously learn more
