About the position
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the implementation of the SAP-based Business Platform, ensuring efficient planning, resource management, and on-time delivery in a multi-partner environment. You will oversee daily operations, track progress, manage risks, and drive collaboration across teams to achieve program goals.

You will play a key role in The Aurora Program, which is responsible for developing the business processes and IT systems required to operate the new mini-mills for fossil-free steel production. The primary objective of the program is to ensure full readiness for the startup of the Luleå mini-mill by the end of 2028.

Main responsibilities:

  1. Managing day-to-day operations within and between the Aurora/Business Platform streams, ensuring alignment across multiple partners, stakeholders and dependency projects.
  2. Leading the SAP implementation project(s) for the Business Platform, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives.
  3. Coordinating activity and resource planning in collaboration with partners.
  4. Overseeing all project resources and ensuring efficient allocation.
  5. Planning, documenting, and tracking project tasks.
  6. Ensuring timely delivery of all project deliverables.
  7. Identifying, analyzing, and managing project risks related to SAP integration and cross-partner collaboration.
  8. Monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
  9. Managing reports and project documentation to ensure transparency and compliance.

About You:
In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies; a formal project management certification is highly desirable.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field.
Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a complex, multi-partner environment.
Extensive experience with modern SAP solutions, such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, or related technologies, particularly in large-scale greenfield implementations or IT transformation projects.
Proven ability to drive SAP implementation projects in complex, industrial environments.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, align stakeholders, and drive structured and organized project execution.
Excellent communication skills in English (company language); proficiency in Finnish or Swedish is a plus.
