As a Summer Trainee in Automation located in either our Kuopio or Espoo location, you will:

• Participate in concept and product development teams.
• Engage in R&D activities.
• Work with cutting-edge technologies such as X-rays, lasers, machine vision, process tomography, artificial intelligence, sampling, and flow modeling.
• Develop measurement and process optimization capabilities.

Who You Are:

• Higher degree study background in Electrical, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Capability and willingness for hands-on work.
• Beneficial skills include programming (Matlab, Linux, Python), a mathematical mindset, mechanical design and product data management (SolidWorks optional), and knowledge in electrical engineering, automation, computer science (hardware), and data acquisition.
• Positive attitude, great work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Skills in MS Office tools and English language proficiency.

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2065-2875 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.

Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
