Enetron is a Finland-based startup with a mission to accelerate the energy transition by designing and manufacturing the hardware that removes bottlenecks in how energy is produced, stored and used.

Today, over 90% of vehicles in Europe still run on fossil fuel. Changing that requires more charging infrastructure. And more infrastructure means solving the problems of grid capacity, site constraints and operator economics. That's what our products do.

We're early in building a tech company with our own hardware and software, designed and built end to end. Our team has previously built and scaled companies to tens and hundreds of millions in revenue.

Now we're looking for an electrical engineer to join our growing team.

What you'll do

  • Work as part of our lean & growing tech team, taking products from early concept through prototype, testing and series production
  • Play a key role in product design, contributing to or leading decisions on components and architecture
  • Continuously improve existing products for performance, cost and production scalability
  • Own technical documentation: schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, test protocols and more
  • Lead or take part in certification and compliance projects together with external partners

Who you are

  • A degree in electrical engineering with hands-on product development experience. Power electronics, EV charging or LV switchgear background is a strong plus.
  • Curious and analytical, unafraid to question convention and find better solutions. Comfortable tinkering, figuring things out, and solving hard technical problems.
  • You get things done, work well both independently and in a team, and want real ownership and responsibility.
  • Kind, honest and respectful.
  • Working proficiency in English is required; Finnish is preferred and other languages a plus.
  • Electrical work qualifications or certifications are a plus.
